I offer a variety of string tracking styles from classical to folk, blues and electric. I have a professional studio set-up that includes acoustic treatment specific to strings, Universal Apollo, AEA Ribbon 84 mic, Telefunken TF 11, AKG 451, and more for lots of variety and color options depending on the best fit for the project. I can build lush and expansive string sections through recording multiple tracks and have a background in composition and music theory to offer quick and harmonically-sound string arrangements. Depending on complexity and how much direction I'm given up front, songs that are 3-4 minutes in length can generally average around 2-4 hours per part.
