Hi! I'm Carolena (aka bluelis) - and I am a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer, and performer that creates mainstream melodies, structures relatable lyrics, and arranges a fully produced record. 

My main style and influences reside in Indie - Pop, and R&B, while being able to adjust to many different genres. I do my best to embody an authentic and effective message that appeals to all audiences.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Popular & Commercial Music from Loyola University New Orleans- where I not only specialized in Artist Development, but also focused on Marketing, Management, Branding, and Music Business and I am now a voting member of The Recording Academy.

I can offer you a quality vocal performance on any original or cover song, as I am vocally trained to sing in most every style - ranging from full band productions to acoustic. I can record and capture whatever vibe you are going for musically and construct a song (melody, lyrics, instrumentation) to embody your style and provide a quality and catchy product in a timely manner.

I have received multiple sync placements on networks such as Netflix, Hulu, The CW, and Paramount. I have been performing live for 15 years and have played at venues such as House of Blues, The Hard Rock, Art Basel, Sofar Sounds, and more.
