Having endured sexual assaults, substance abuse, and violent attacks, Javina experienced first hand the profound failures of support services and communities. Left feeling lost, hurt, and angry, she vowed to transform her painful past into a powerful catalyst for change. Seeking refuge at West Mercia Women's Aid,she found solace and embarked on a path to recovery through drug and alcohol services and a 12-step fellowship. Javina is an artist on a mission to create social justice and empower women through her music. Having overcome a tumultuous past filled with abuse, addiction, and exploitation, Javina now uses her personal experiences to shed light on important societal issues while advocating for change. With her empowering lyrics and captivating music, Javina aims to make a real difference in the lives of women, both through her artistry and by supporting organisations and projects that help keep women safe.
Through this transformative journey, Javina discovered purpose,meaning, and value in her life. Embracing her past as a platform for advocating for other women, she realised that her musical talents couldserve as a powerful tool to raise awareness, support services, and effect social change. With her profound exploration of recovery, she delved into writing and music production with GarageBand, ultimately giving birth to her 5-track EP, "No More Silence."
