There's nothing I love more than when an artist hears a mix I've done and says "You brought the song to life." I want every track I work on to sound the way the artist hears it. To that end, I approach mixing with just as much customer service as I do with technical skill and experience. I work in lots of different genres, from folk to electronic, from pop to metal to cinematic hip hop and orchestral. Mixing wasn't something that came naturally to me at first; it was something I was forced to learn out of necessity so that I could get my own music out into the world at the best level possible. I was driven to be better and better, to hone my skills, to watch hundreds of hours of tutorials, attend mix conferences, and to seek out mentors who would help me evolve. As a result, my mix work has been featured in promos and commercials, indie films & shorts, as well as television and streaming channels like Netflix, Apple TV, The CW, HBO, and more. My approach is always to enhance what the artist has done. I have some incredible tools to achieve this, with plugins from UAD, Waves, Kush, Brainworx, Melodyne, and many others. But regardless of the plugin, the goal is fulfill the artist's vision for their own work. I use Pro Tools, so it's usually best to send stems via Google Drive, Dropbox, or whatever your preferred method is.
