Shannon Cook’s unique career path, has taken her from a professional career in theatre where she traveled the world, to standing shoulder to shoulder with her husband in their company Roundrock Technology (Formerly TOURtech). It has fed her soul as a production person at heart. After her professional theatrical career, Shannon stayed in the entertainment field and worked her way up through the corporate ranks at Showtime Networks where she became the Director, Human Resources for the Los Angeles office. Her growth in strategic human resources continued with her relocation to Raleigh, NC, as the Director of HR for a local CPA firm. She continued to broaden her skills through her escalating positions within Insperity, a nationally recognized professional employer organization, where she assisted small and mid-sized companies with their growth and success. All the while, Shannon invested her extra time and energy into the growth and development of TOURtech (dba: Roundrock Technology) after hours and on weekends. Shannon officially joined the company as their Chief Operating Officer seven years ago. Over the past 20+ years Roundrock Technology has grown from a living room and garage full of gear to a the premier provider of IT in the entertainment industry for live events. Shannon has finished wrapping up the transition of selling the company and is ready to get back to work. She is no stranger to event sites, having served in multiple functions from contract management, project management, logistics support, sponsorship and talent support. She has developed strong relationships with Live Nation festival and corporate teams.

When COVID-19 created a shutdown of the Entertainment and Live events industry, Shannon took on the task of lifting up her industry with advocacy and industry focused support. She invested her time on Co-founding and producing a benefit "Level-Up Festival" at the Ryman Auditorium in Memphis benefiting gig-workers across the country. This led to her ongoing relationship with The Roadie Clinic.

Shannon is looking forward to the next chapter of her career where she can apply the knowledge and skills she acquired throughout her professional journey and stay true to her production roots.
