Please accept this letter as my Biographical Information and Description of Services, as applicable to the position of Freelance Photographer. Heather Demaree 2001 SW Morningside Drive Blue Springs, MO 64015 Service Location: KC Metro Area As a bi-sexual female that was born and raised in Kansas City, MO, I have a unique knowledge and perspective about the area and all of its unique features. My local experiences include, Westport area, Volker Park, Crossroads District, Country Club Plaza, Sandstone Amphitheater, Municipal Auditorium, Uptown Theater, and many more. Over the years, I have obtained a significant level of freelance photography skills. The majority of these skills were acquired through my love for, work with and exposure to my fabulous, late brother, David Demaree. Over the years, our photography was based on Music Artists performances locally and far. Our Photography was recognized in Melissa Ethridge’s Calendar, Kiss Kruise Media, and Music Artists Fan Pages. David was a freelance photographer and media journalist who allowed me to work beside him, acquiring all the skills of these two positions, over a time period of 20 years. Working in conjunction with David, the majority of my photography was done at various concerts, of various celebrities and across several venues in the area. Over 20 Rockfest KC photography concerts to include many bands over the years. In our portfolio, are Drowning Pool, Saliva, Godsmack, Ozzy, Kiss, Halestorm, Disturbed, and Shinedown to name a few. Working with KC Exposure Magazine annually for Saint Louis and Kansas City Pride photos. Over a 25 year period, I have worked for DirtBag Music, LiveNation and Bandsintown, building up a substantial portfolio of several live music experiences. Many of my skills have been obtained through the tutelage and inspiration of my brother, as well as through formal classes and hands-on experience. By day, I will be found working as an Accountant for a construction company, by night, a photography maven. My hobbies include Roller Derby, Skating, cycling, and soaking up the live concert experience as much as possible.
