Bitch is a long-standing queer icon, performer, writer, musician and producer. Starting in the 90s as one half of the duo Bitch and Animal, who toured extensively with Ani Difranco, Bitch went on to star in John Cameron Mitchell’s “Shortbus,” collaborated with her elder Ferron, and toured with Indigo Girls. Her latest album, “Bitchcraft”, which came out on Kill Rock Stars in 2022 has become a soundtrack to a one-person show “How Bitch Became Bitch Starring Bitch,” and was voted by Yahoo Entertainment as 2022’s album of the year.
