Theresa Layne is a Broadway folk-rock artist, songwriter, actor, and drummer whose performances blend the storytelling of musical theatre with the raw energy of rock and punk. Armed with a guitar, a powerful voice, and a fearless sense of humor, she delivers songs that are heartfelt, rebellious, vulnerable, and unapologetically authentic.

As the creator of her solo project In a Tizzy, Theresa weaves together folk, rock, and theatrical storytelling into performances that feel equally at home in a cabaret, a coffeehouse, or a dive bar. When she's not fronting her solo act, she's behind the drums for the all-female punk band Hot Tina, bringing high-energy rhythms and a stage presence that refuses to be ignored.

A lifelong performer with professional theatre credits spanning stages across California and beyond, Theresa believes great music should make people laugh, cry, think, sing along, and leave feeling a little braver than when they arrived.
