Riana

Keytarist + Pianist with experience in a wide variety styles; I primarily play pop, rock, funk, punk. Formally trained in classical piano from the age of 5, the true test of my musicianship came when I arrived at Berklee College of Music; I had to learn how to play jazz, blues, latin, neo-soul, etc. I relearned my approach to the piano/keyboard, from having every note of a song written out on a piece of paper in classical music, to creating live, improvised music in ensembles of world-class musicians. 

Since returning to Los Angeles (born and raised here!), I began doing work as a session/recording musician and am currently in 2 bands. Notable venues I've played to date include Hatch Shell Boston, Fenway Porchfest, Red Room @ 939, Berklee Caf, Whisky A Go-Go, The Viper Room, The Hotel Cafe, and House of Blues Anaheim. 

I'm organized, reliable, responsive, and attentive. I bring an infectious enthusiasm to every project I work on, and would love to see what we can create together!
