Shana Montanez is a Creator and Connector in Music and Entertainment with 15+ years as an Artist, Writer, and Consultant. She is responsible for liase’ing with Marketing executives and leading production teams to create customized music for many networks and brands including: 20th Century FOX, Hulu, CBS, CW, VH1, Showtime, Bravo, Dreamworks & Coca Cola. In addition to creating customized music, Shana works closely sourcing topline writers and music with A&R in both the US & Greater China for songwriting camps, and Overseas Artist placements; as well as consulting for music licensing companies. Shana has also worked extensively in creating music for Children’s markets, including Animation Tv series & Films, and a line of Children’s books. As a Queer Artist, Shana is passionate about amplifying LGBTQ+ talent and has curated, creative directed and participated in lineups heavily in the Pride Festival circuit, including LA Pride, Long Beach Pride, Santa Monica Pride, She Fest, and Women’s Redrock Music Festival. Shana has also spoken on multiple panels regarding Diversity & Inclusion in music, from an LGBTQ+ space/voice.
