Mar

Mar is an artist manager, label manager, booking agent and radio host with her own company Mar On Music. She manages Partner, Kali Horse, Tallies and poolblood. Originally from Vancouver, Mar lived in London UK for 8 years where she played in various bands and worked for BBC radio. She has toured in numerous Canadian/UK bands, been a CBC radio personality, worked as a European booking agent, music publicist and now runs her own MGMT company. She's written about music for many publications and web sites in the UK and Canada (Clash, TLOBF, Exclaim, NOW). Mar recently joined AMG as a USA/Canada booking agent and is also the Label Manager at Envision Records (Montreal). Mar has lived in Vancouver, London, Berlin, Toronto and now Los Angeles. Mar champions indie artists above all else.
