As a teenager, my world revolved around music. I was a die-hard fan, glued to MTV, and avidly collecting Rolling Stone magazines, CDs, and band posters with every bit of my allowance. But my passion for music didn't stop there. ​ Driven by an urge to capture every moment of my life, including the concerts I was attending, I began sneaking my little point-and-shoot camera into venues using empty disposable camera boxes. I vividly recall one instance at a festival where I found myself pushing my way to the front barricade where a sea of photographers stood in front of me. It was at that very moment that I knew I was destined to do the same. ​ Determined to pursue my dream, I took on a second job to save up for my first DSLR camera. And exactly one year later, I found myself standing in the photo pit of the same festival, fully credentialed and ready to capture the essence of the performers and the energy of the crowd.
