Lola
Bio
Lola Colette, Los Angeles based musician, is not your traditional singer songwriter. Colette is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer, and classically trained pianist who weaves traditional pop, rock, and Bossa Nova throughout her original songs, all of which are showcased through her live performances around the Los Angeles and Nashville areas.
At the age of 21, she has already had a prolific career. In 2022 alone, Colette and her band supported the American leg of the Brighten Tour with Jerry Cantrell of Alice in Chains, she then went on to join as keyboardist on the European leg of tour in Cantrell’s band. At the start of her career, Colette performed the entirety of the piano work for Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1 at Capitol Records Studios at the age of 12, and went on to perform with the London Symphony Orchestra as the solo pianist for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, at Abbey Road studios at age 15. Thereafter, she performed live on the Howard Stern Show as the bassist for David Hasselhoff’s on-air performance of David Bowie’s "Heroes," and performed as a pianist and bassist in Malaga, Spain at MOSMA international film music festival with Tyler Bates’ Ensemble and the Malaga Symphony Orchestra. Her vocal chops can be heard on Jerry Cantrell of Alice in Chains’ new album, “Brighten,” Marilyn Manson’s acclaimed 2017 release Heaven Upside Down album and his 2018 summer single “Cry Little Sister.” At age 17, her work as a musician and artist led to a bass guitar endorsement with Schecter Guitars, and she is now featured on their website among many world class guitarists and bassists.
