Award winning Hip-Hop recording artist, actor, designer, entrepreneur and visionary, Mala Reignz, has established her brand in the music game and the industry as an independent powerhouse. The first solo female rapper of Latino descent to be declared "Unsigned Hype" by The Source Magazine, and Flava of the Month by Straight Stuntin’ Magazine, Mala's rhyme skills and creative direction led her to be featured among the industry’s most respected platforms including Digiwaxx's Female Cipher hosted by MC Lyte, Battle of the Boroughs presented by Summer Stage, The "Friday Freestyle Cipher" on SiriusXM/ Shade 45 Radio's "Sway In The Morning" show, MTV's "RapFix", BET JAMZ, The A3C Music Festival, Hot 97, and Power 105.1, to name a few. Ms. Reignz always knew she wanted her music career to open doors for her other passions: business and fashion. She launched the "Bad Girl Chainz" fashion accessory line in 2013 which she sold on one of the largest internet commerce platforms, Groupon.com. Mala continued to further enterprise by co-founding Scholar Vision Music Group, a music and media company with her partner New York City based producer, artist and director, Justin “J30” Thomas the following year. In 2019 she made her comedic acting debut on the live sketch comedy & variety show "City Lights Live" with fellow cast mates Marc Reign, Glory Monell, and Sexxy Stace Face, viral instagram comic sensations. Mala has been in the studio vigorously working on her full length LP, "Bougie In The Bronx." A featured record, "Bad Girl Saloon", brings with it Mala's 19th century steampunk fashion inspired video, which she styled and designed all the costumes herself showing her versatile talents and hands on approach to her career. A play on her own name, Mala explained, “A ‘bad girl’ is a woman who holds it down at home and in her career.
