I’m from Brooklyn, New York and was raised in a Jamaican-American household. I started singing at the age of two. I come from a musical family, so my entire family can sing or play an instrument — I started off singing in church. I was able to gain a pretty big following in the underground music scene in New York City. My shows would be packed with lines around the corner for about eight or nine years. I started songwriting at the age of 13. I always have a recording studio in my house and I started engineering myself in 2010. Grammy and Emmy winning singer and songwriter.
