My experience with event production covers technical, managerial, and promotional positions. On the technical side, I was the stage production manager for the main stage at a small camping festival's first year, tasked with sourcing equipment, assessing safety protocols, and directing sound engineers. As a show manager for a mid-sized music venue, I handled performance logistics, artist hospitality, fulfillment of advances, settlements, accounting, and staff payment. Lastly, working as the assistant manager of a concert promo company from day 1 gave me experience with the booking process, ticketing pricing and execution, cross-promotion with visual artists, and event marketing strategies.
