She possesses a never-ending enthusiasm for providing a top notch experience for her listeners, works tirelessly to elevate & engage the crowd during her high energy performances, often including incorporating live instruments to bring an improvisational, “organic element” for good balance. With a bustling set of career highlights that include, 14+ years as a busy mobile event, festival & nightclub DJ First of a new wave of DJs to build their own 3D nightclub environments and perform in Virtual Reality in the “metaverse” 20+ years as a formally trained guitarist, bassist & percussionist Obtaining a degree in Sound Engineering & Music Business Running sound for & DJ/MCing over 600 events Acquiring over $30,000 worth of sound, lighting and DJ equipment in her garage :) Punctual, fun and easy to work with and always accommodating to her clients & agencies Meticulously collecting and cataloging over 26,000 songs in almost all genres Definite ability to be a musical Chameleon… 🦎 Developing a knack for climactic, seamless song mixing, eclectic and inspirational curation and reading a diverse crowd Releasing 5 solo albums, 12+ singles, remixes and amassing millions of plays of her original music on Spotify, Apple, Youtube, etc. With an emphasis on keeping the sound hip, energized, sophisticated and accessible, Celeste craftily mixes everything from the hottest high energy Deep/Tech/Bass House Music to Top 40/Pop hits. Indie Dance and Nu-Disco, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s classics, Hip Hop, Funky Grooves and super creative Mash Ups and Remixes. She has a special passion for unique and edgy Trap, Dubstep, Glitch-hop, Tribal/World, Downtempo and Future Bass Music and closely follows all the best, most cutting edge new underground and mainstream music producers to stay ahead of the game. Celeste is a regular guest DJ for the wildly popular “Ecstatic Dance” events internationally and takes pride in working to ensure that her listeners have an uplifting, energizing and cathartic experience on the dance floor. Celeste has been thrilled to be able to share her music at, Outside Lands Music Festival, Bottle Rock Festival, The Giant’s Stadium, The Midway SF, Burning Man, Wisdome LA, Sky Bar LA, Star Vibes Festival NorCal, Mezzanine SF, Public Works SF and to diverse clients such as the United Nations, Google, Apple, MOMA SF, Elon Musk & Grimes (private party!), Ecstatic Dance, Frederic’s of Hollywood, The Gap/Banana Republic, W and Virgin Hotels, Uber & StubHub. Also an avid immersive performer in the “metaverse”, DJ Celeste has been designing and producing futuristic, cutting edge concert performances as an avatar in 3D environments in Virtual Reality on a variety of platforms. • As a music producer & sound engineer, Celeste has had amassed millions of plays on streaming radio and had had hundreds of placements of her music on television & film including most notably Fox’s wildly popular show, “So You Think You Can Dance” as well as various shows on VH1, HBO, SONY, Discovery Channel & MTV. She gained notoriety with her soulful downtempo track release, “Love is Alive” featuring London based soul vocalist Mozez (Nightmares on Wax & Zero7) with airplay on KCRW & internationally.
