About the seller
Jennifer
Bossi is a Singer / Songwriter and Advocate for the Arts known for her bold style and unique sound that fuses modern production with songwriting reminiscent of the 1970’s. Her recent EP, Run with Lions and its various songs have been compared to the best of Fleetwood Mac and Florence + The Machine. Having recently relocated from New York City to Los Angeles, Bossi’s new music feels right at home amongst the west coast lifestyle.
Bossi’s trajectory has been an unconventional one. She returned to her music career after an eight-year hiatus following two battles with breast cancer. Her grit and lust for life is evident in her music and also in her theatrical, high-energy and wildly inspiring live performances that leave audiences ready to get a little “bossi” for good too.
Bossi is known as much for her commitment to social impact as her music and storytelling. During the height of the pandemic, she was tapped by United Nations to Executive Produce, Co-Write and Perform on an original anthem for their World Mental Health Day Campaign. She later performed for Deepak Chopra’s Never Alone Summit alongside Jewel, Russell Brand and Ozomatli. She also founded House of Bossi, an artist residency program, concert series and creative space that incubates, showcases and supports other talent, from musicians to visual artists, storytellers and activists. Combining mentorship with access to resources and community, Bossi is shaping the independent arts scene in Los Angeles and building a legacy of patronage.
