DJ Lessons

DJ Lessons w/ SUPPA

In this lesson series with SUPPA, you will workshop all the vital information required to become a DJ! Lesson topics include basic concepts such as:

-Waveform & Frequency
-CDJs & Mixer
-Beat Matching
-Basic EQ Mixing
-Memory Cue & Hot Cue
-Music Collection & Organization
-Set Building & Performance
-DJ Branding and Marketing

Lessons are available in person or remotely through zoom! For remote lessons, you must have DJ equipment that works with Rekordbox, more specifically: CDJs, a Mixer, headphones and a speaker. In person lessons can utilize my DDJ-400 and speaker system. I am willing to work with Serato, however that is not my specialty but I can still guide your DJ learning.

I have three years of experience with Deejays and Vinylphiles Club from UCSD, where we offered DJ training services to other college students. I was one of the only queer people on staff and it brought me so much joy to be taught by and share my knowledge with other aspiring women and non-binary artists in the electronic dance music community!

Contact me with your questions and feel free to consult me before booking to make sure this is the right fit for you.
