Alyssa

Alyssa (aka "AL") Resh is a professional drummer based in Philadelphia. They also sing and play keys. With training as an orchestral/avant-garde percussionist and mallet player, Al commonly plays in eclectic or experimental scenes. They've toured internationally and recorded with bands spanning all genres, whether it be folk, art-rock, electronic or metal. Current projects include Another Michael, Ogre, Lizdelise, and the Goalie's Anxiety at the Penalty Kick. Al has also performed with orchestras, choirs, and theaters. They are available for performing, recording, session work, arranging, or teaching, and they have an in-home recording setup. They have a B.M. in Percussion Performance and Music Education from West Chester University of Pennsylania, and an M.M. in Percussion performance from Temple University. They currently teach percussion at York College of Pennsylvania and Haverford College.
