Carly

Hi! I'm Carly Gilliam and I am an undergraduate student at the University of Florida studying Event Management and an aspiring music industry professional. My ultimate passion in life is music (of course), but specifically bringing live experiences to others in a way that breaks down the barrier between artist and fan. I currently work as a Live Event Producer at a local venue, Heartwood Soundstage, where I get to do just that by producing showcases, weekly events and concert series. I am also a Talent Buyer for UF's very own student-led artist resource agency, Swamp Records. My time in music has introduced me to a newfound love for marketing, and I've been exploring this through my time at South Main Station where I work as the Social Media Manager and Marketing & Events Assistant, running two social media accounts and producing fun events in support of our brand and local businnesses. I'm looking to further pursue my interest in marketing, hoping to find an intersection within music, as well as more opportunities in event management/site management or the chance to explore A&R and artist management.
