Hi, my name is Amy Castro but I go by Amy Fauxx. I am a multimedia artist. I shoot film photography and digital. I started in high school when I became interested in graphics and photography. Every time I’d walk home from school I’d see kids handing out flyers to punk shows and events happening nearby. I started collecting them and became interested in photos and text. Back then social media wasn’t as big as it is now. These flyers are what drew people’s attention to attending an event.

I picked up my first Nikon camera in high school and a Canon A-E1. I became very interested in photo shooting at night and in color. It is just fun picking up the film and seeing the results after. I think taking pictures is all about experimenting and you’ll pick up a style.
