Bio

Alyssa Ruffin was born in Mason City, Iowa. She is a proud Military wife currently based out of Colorado, and recently won the 2024 AFI Buckley Space Force Base Spouse of the Year for her advocacy on various difficult topics. Alyssa is an independent, international, multi-award-winning Recording Artist, and Singer-Songwriter. She is a member of the Midwest Country Music Organization, Texas Country Music Association, and the American Country Music Association. Alyssa is a 2024 9x nominee at the Fair Play Country Music - International Red Carpet Awards in Europe, a 4x nominee at the 2024 Mississippi Music Awards, and a 10x Nominee at the Rampage Music Awards. Alyssa won Song of the Year for "Love Triangle" at the 2023 Josie Music Awards, held at the legendary Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, Tennessee. The JMA'S are the largest independent music awards show in the world. With more than 59,000 submissions, Alyssa received 5 nominations for 2023 including Artist of the Year, EP of the Year, Vocalist of the Year, Song of the Year (Pretty Boy Blues), and Song of the Year (Love Triangle). 

Alyssa won Best Female Pop Country Artist at the 2023 Mississippi Music Awards, Best Blues Song for "Pretty Boy Blues" at the World Songwriting Awards, she received a 5 Star Rating and Commended Entry at the 2023 UK International Songwriting Contest, she won Songwriter Achievement Award for "Enough" at The 2022 Josie Music Awards, Country Voice of the Year at the Fair Play Country Music International Red Carpet Awards, she was an official 2022 Semi-Finalist and received a 5 Star Rating for "Party Down a Dirt Road" at the UK International Songwriting Contest, won Vocalist of the Year at the 2021 Josie Music Awards, and Bronze "Honors" Award at the Global Music Awards for "Collateral Damage". Since 2021 Alyssa has received more than 50 Music Award Nominations for her original music.

Additionally, Alyssa has performed for crowds of 30,000+ patrons, she opened for Country Music Group Sawyer Brown (The Race Is On), Country Music Group Confederate Railroad (Queen Of Memphis), Hinder (Lips Of An Angel), Billboard Chart-topping Rock band Royal Bliss (Crazy), J.R. Richards of Dishwalla (Counting Blue Cars), Legendary Hip-Hop Artist Coolio (Gangstas Paradise), AMA Award-winning Rock band Firehouse (Love Of A Lifetime), and performed with former lead guitarist of Wilson Pickett (Mustang Sally) and Legendary musician David Panzer, guest performed with Scott Wilson of Platinum selling Rock band Saving Abel (Addicted), and guest performed with Daryle Singletary (Amen Kind Of Love). Alyssa performed along with Grammy Award-winner Lisa Loeb (Stay, I Missed You), Paula Cole (I Don't Want To Wait), Taylor Dayne (Tell It To My Heart), Jody Watley (Looking For A New Love), Melody Thornton of the Pussycat Dolls, and Gospel Recording Artist Vanessa Bell-Armstrong in the Global Green "Music For The Planet" benefit concert.

Furthermore, Alyssa is working with P.T. Houston (Lady A, Gretchen Wilson, Jamie Johnson) at Off The Row Studios in Nashville, producer and engineer "King Richard" Easterling (Muse, Fuel, Vertical Horizon) at KRM Studios in Colorado, she's worked with Platinum and Gold award winning producer Bill Douglass (Celine Dion, Smashing Pumpkins) at Royal Recording, Grammy voting member and the first female contributor to Pro-tools expert -Audrey Martinovich, she has a pending project in the works with Grammy award winner & 5x Billboard award winning producer and composer Kitt Wakeley, she has multiple collaborations happening in 2024 along with the highly anticipated release of her debut full-length album.
