Bio

A lifelong arts lover and advocate with nearly 20 years of experience in arts research, programming and presenting, Sarah Rucker founded Full Gallop in 2015. Full Gallop strives to bridge cultures and connect communities through creative collaborations and programs. She has a personal mission to help increase equity in the arts, especially in Austin, where she started the Inclusion Riders Initiative ATX in 2018. She was a founding board member of Austin Emerging Arts Leaders and holds a Bachelor’s degree from University of Texas’ Fine Arts Program with a Business Certificate from UT’s McCombs School of Business.

Notable events she’s worked on include Neighbors in Need Hurricane Katrina Benefit at Frank Erwin Center (2005,) Barbara Lynn & Friends at Library of Congress and Kennedy Center ( 2009,) HAAM’s 10th Anniversary (2015,) City of Austin’s Cultural Arts Division 30 Year Celebration (2016,) Opening Reception for Americans for the Arts Annual Convention (2016,) Barbara Lynn’s National Heritage Award Presentation (2018) and Cherrywood Art Fair (2017-2019.)
